Self-improvement books are a great way to start building good habits and improving your life. But to falling off from the habit is easy.
If you’re new to reading self improvement books, here are few ways that you can follow to continue the habit.

1.Find a time slot :
Set a time slot that is comfortable for you. Either it is on your way to office, or a break time , or it might be your netflix time.
Dedicate the time to read the book you chose and follow it everyday.
2.Take it Slow
Donot read the book in an aim to complete it. Read the book to understand the meaning behind it
Read a paragraph everyday, and then take it to a page and then follow your friction.
But make sure you donot skip the pages, like we fast forward an youtube video or wave through it just like social media scrolling.
Reading a book needs patience and concentration.
3.Take a Break & Grab Another Book
If you feel the specific book is not for you, donot quit reading books
Instead, choose another book that might fit your needs and moods. But follow the process continuously.
4.Leave time for yourself to enjoy your own thoughts
Once you read the book, take time for yourself and analyse your thoughts and feelings about what you’ve read today.
This allows you to think in different perspectives and improves your thinking ability.
5.Share with your friends
If you like anything in the book or if anything suprised you ,share it with your friends,family & colleagues.
It helps you to remember even after very long time and encourages you to read more about it.

If we want to make any progress in our lives, we need to be persistent and consistent with our efforts.
