The days are running fast, but the weeks seem never ending, while we are starving for a weekend.
The one day we all wait for is SUNDAY, to relax, to rejuvenate and recharge ourselves.
Everyone has a habit of postponing the things to Sunday, as we are occupied on week days with routine needs.

But, that’s not what Sunday is for. Sunday has to be considered as Self Care Day.
Self Care Sunday isn’t just doing the leftover tasks for the week or restocking the groceries.
It is to chill on the bed all the time, or to take our selves on a trip. These are few good activities for self care.

1.Wake Up Peacefully
Isn’t it peaceful to wake up with out an alarm, waking up with no deadlines in mind.
Do not make any extra appointments on Sunday, which may spoil your day.
Just wakeup slowly, peacefully and embrace the stillness in life.
2.Have your favorite breakfast
Breakfast time is my favorite eat – time of the day.
While we hurriedly eat the breakfast during the week days, On Sunday, it is time to take the food into our body with mindfulness.
Not watching anything on screens, just appreciating the taste of food is my favorite way of enjoying Sunday!
3.Read a Book
Many of us might not have an habit of reading book, but I wrote this option here because reading a book makes me go slow during the day.
I will just take up any fiction, especially Ruskin Bond’s and slowly read through the lines.
4.Write a Journal
While it is time to write the expenses that we have in the week, it is also important to write your thoughts about current happenings and feelings about what ever happening in your life.
I feel, this gives you a fresh perspective towards any problem or any plan if you’re trying to solve.
5.Pamper Yourself
Make a plan for pampering yourself. Take long shower, have a spa day.
Get rid of tan lines, make a way for glowing face and skin.
At the end, you deserve all of these!

6.Cook Yourself
Eating home-made or self made food is the best way of enjoying the day.
It gives a level of satisfaction when you cook yourself and eat to spend your me-time.
7. Watch Your Favorite Show
Binge watching is our way of spending time at home these days.
Watch your favorite show or series, and involve in some drama.
8.Go on a Road Trip/Solo Trip
This is my personal favorite as a self care idea.
Even though it is bliss to spend some leisure time after a busy week, road-tripping on our favorite destination adds much pleasure to the day.
9.Talk to your Friend
Even though, the world is full of technology and devices, there is still lack of communication, Isn’t it?
Take your phone and catch up with that old friend that you’re thinking about everyday, but not in touch.
Remember the old good times and lost yourself a bit with nostalgia
10.Go for a walk in Nature
With the gifted sophisticated life we have, we all are dependent on our vehicles even to near by places and we almost forget walking.
Sometimes , going alone on a walk feels more fresh and relaxing.
Go to nearby park, or choose a peaceful lane to observe the world around you.
11. Stretch Your Self
Gone are those days, where we can fit naturally.
We all need some regular breaks from sitting on the couch & rolling on the bed.
Push yourself from the laziness, and do some basic stretches, to understand your body more.
12.Write your Goals
Change is the only constant thing in our lives.
Apart from the professional targets, there are also some short term and long term personal goals.
Starting an YouTube channel, buying a car, or investing in stocks
Think Yourself about future a bit, write your goals, and plan about making it happen.
Self Care Sunday is the best way to plan your thoughts and taking them to live.

Be it a Do-It-Yourself (DIY), painting , sewing, writing or any creative hobby that you have,
Do not let it bury inside you. Spend your self care Sunday with your favorite pastime hobby and relive !
